China's New version of General code for waterproofing of building and municipal engineering will be implemented on April 1, 2023

The New version of General code for waterproofing of building and municipal engineering was released on 27th Sep 2022, will be implemented from 1st Apr 2023.

The New version of General code for waterproofing of building and municipal engineering specified new requirement for curtain wall waterproofing:

The closed curtain wall should meet the first-class waterproof requirements

The gap between the door and window frame and the wall should be embedded and sealed with waterproof material

Drip lines should be set on the lintels of the door and window openings

Drainage structural measures such as drainage boards and drip lines should be installed at the window sills, and the drainage slope should not be less than 5%

The canopy should be provided with external drainage, with a slope not less than 1%
